United Nation and Rwanda Genocide
When the genocide occured, the UN (United Nation) has sent 10 peacekeepers from
the UN to help bring down the civil war but it didn’t go as planned since the president at
that time, Juvenal Habyarimana, was killed in a plane crash. Because of that, extremist
targeted the 10 peacekeepers and killed them.After that, the UN has failed to help them
since the incident happened and deeply apologise for what had happened in Rwanda
since then.
